Sydney, Australia - Broadcast, post-production and digital media specialist supplier, Digistor Pty Ltd, has appointed Mr. Helmut Lottenburger as DI Workflow & Application Specialist working out of the company's Artarmon Office. Mr. Lottenburger will provide pre-sales, sales and technical workflow expertise, focusing on Digital Intermediate (DI), high-end post-production and digital cinema solutions for broadcasters, post-houses and high-end editorial organisations.

In December 2009, Digistor was appointment as an Autodesk partner to sell and support the entire range of Autodesk Systems products including the new Autodesk Smoke Software 2010 for Mac OS X. Helmut's responsibilities will also include support for these products. 

"Digistor sells and supports DVS CLIPSTER and, with his outstanding experience and reputation, Helmut is the ideal addition to the team to assist in the provision of solutions around this and other Digistor products," stated Managing Director Andrew Mooney. "With the recent addition of Autodesk's Smoke on Mac and Autodesk's systems products to our range, Helmut is an invaluable resource."

Helmut's hands-on knowledge of the media industry encompasses graphic design for web and new media as well as compositing for film and TV. He worked as both an operator and support engineer for several years and has an in-depth knowledge of Digital Intermediate workflows.

He recently worked for DVS Digital Video Systems AG, where he substantially contributed to the establishment of DVS CLIPSTER as a widely acknowledged leading system for high-end post production and D-Cinema encoding in Europe and Asia.

In addition to his work as an Application Specialist, Helmut's role at DVS included the setup of DVS-SAN systems at a number of leading post-production facilities and broadcast service providers around the world.
