Digistor has announced the company's appointment as an Adobe Specialist Reseller - Pro Video to sell and support Adobe's range of software products. Digistor will focus on integrating Adobe's software products into professional video environments using the company's expertise and relationships with leading manufacturers to deploy complete solutions for applications for any screen.

Digital Video professionals, an important customer group for Adobe, make up a large part of Digistor's existing customer base. These customers include all of the major free-to-air and cable TV stations, production and post-production companies, independent video production companies and digital media agencies. In addition, many design customers are integrating digital video into their projects, bringing about a surge in demand for professional video solutions.

The program includes a number of stringent obligations which Digistor has met in order to qualify as an Adobe Specialist Reseller - Pro Video. These obligations include the certification of skilled sales and support staff and the provision of the resources in order to effectively demonstrate train and support Adobe software products. Meeting these obligations helps Adobe ensure the reseller is able to provide high quality engagement with customers.

As an Adobe Specialist Reseller - Pro Video, Digistor will market, sell and support Adobe's best-selling commercial software products Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition and Adobe Creative Suite Master Collection. Digistor offers complete solutions incorporating these products that are complementary to, build on, and interoperate with them.

David Hague

David is the owner and publisher of AusCam Online. He has a background in media dating back to 1979 when he first got involved with photojournalism in motorsport, and went from there into technology via a 5 year stint with Tandy Computers. Following that, he ran a software distribution company on the Gold Coast and was one of the first to recognise the potential of Microsoft Windows.

Moving back to WA, David wrote scripts for Computer Television for video training for the just released Windows and Office 95 among others, and was then lured to Sydney to create web sites for the newly commercial Internet in 1995, building hundreds of sites under contract to OzEmail including Coates Hire, Hertz Queensland, John Williamson, the NSW Board of Studies and many, many more.

He went back into full time journalism as the Managing Editor for Channel 7's 'Gadget Guy', Peter Blasina's publications VideoCamera and Pixelmag, before starting Australasian Camcorder magazine when these publications were shelved. He lives at Sydney's Avalon Beaches nearly on the ocean front with dog Budweiser and in his spare time is a nut for motor sport, road safety, fishing, science fiction - especially Dr Who - and technology.
